Announced two Universities of Tuscany among the first 10 in the ranking of the best small university in the world issued by the magazine Times Higher Education: The Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa at 5th place, followed at the 6th place by the Scuola Superiore S.Anna. Tenth place for the Free University of Bolzano.
The ranking, which takes into consideration the universities with fewer than 5 thousand students, shows at the top of the podium the American California Institute of Technology. Well represented Europe in the top ten: 3 universities are French (Scuola Normale Superiore 2nd, Polytechnic 4th, Scuola normale superiore in Lyons 7th) and at 9th place the Sweden University of Agricultural Sciences.
The South Korean Pohang University of Science and Technology (third place) and the Indian Institute of Sciences (eighth) completing the tens excellent. By scrolling over the ranking in the top 20 meet two Turkish universities and four American (including that in the peak).
