One hundred million euro in potential investments in prestigious Real Estate and territories: this is what Tuscany will bring to this year’s edition of Mipim, the world’s property market held in Cannes, France.

With the support of Tuscany Region and Toscana Promozione (the regional economic promotional agency), some urban integrated projects of sustainable development (PIUSS) will be introduced, including the recovery of several industrial structures in the area of Colle Val d’Elsa, where a collaboration with the atelier Jean Nouvel started, and in the district of Follonica. Some cities, as Arezzo and Florence, will be promoting some investments on historical buildings.

Mipim 2014 will be held from the 11th to the 14th of March, at the Palais des Festivals. On Wednesday March 12th, at 15:00, at Invest in Tuscany’s stand (LR4.16), the Region’s Councillor Anna Marson will present the urban regeneration in Chianciano Terme (province of Siena), Calenzano (Florence) and all the specific investment opportunities in Mugello (province of Florence). Starting from the experience of the urban integrated projects of sustainable development (PIUSS), the most recent developments towards urban regeneration will be presented.
The Councillor will also present the recent modifications of the laws for the government and territory that the region of Tuscany intend to qualify the territories assets and landscape with.

On Thursday the 13th, at 16.30, the Municipality of Florence will present the new tourist features of the city in the digital era and the opportunities it could offer as a learning hub.
